Dancers move along a pathway through aspens, pines, rocks, streams and pools personifying the spirits and the Buddhist elements of nature: EARTH, FIRE, WATER and WIND. The garden’s FLORA and FAUNA are represented by our young dancers
Created in 2005 by Martin Mosko, a Zen Buddhist monk and landscape designer, the Sawtooth Botanical Garden is home to a beautiful Tibetan prayer wheel which was presented and blessed by the Dalai Lama. Turning the wheel is said to send messages of compassion throughout the world.
Guest artists, dancers and students from Hilarie Neely's Footlight Dance Center. The taiko fusion music of the Los Angeles based On Ensemble sets the mood for each location.
